He began by highlighting Fuyang’s strategic advantages—its superior transportation network, robust platforms for entrepreneurship, and a favorable business climate characterized by the city’s widespread commitment to valuing, supporting, reassuring, and enriching entrepreneurs—along with its well‑developed infrastructure, distinct comparative strengths, and strong policy and financial backing. These factors, he argued, should be leveraged to seize development opportunities and bolster confidence in investing in Fuyang. Next, invoking the sentiment, “After traveling far and wide, nothing compares to the beauty of Fuyang,” he urged leaders of Fuyang chambers of commerce across the country to strengthen their sense of hometown pride and to fully capitalize on their organizations’ extensive networks, timely information, and ample resources. He encouraged them to take proactive measures, attracting more projects that are technologically advanced, highly scalable, and capable of generating significant economic spillovers. He also called on them to serve as bridges, offering constructive advice and ideas, thereby making fresh contributions to Fuyang’s continued development. In closing, President Wu Zhaowei remarked, “Nothing is more beautiful than the waters of one’s hometown, and no one is closer than the people of one’s native land.
