On April 1–2, 2017, the Fourth National Joint Conference of Presidents and Secretaries-General of Fuyang Chambers of Commerce (Fuyang), hosted by the Fuyang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People’s Government and organized by the Fuyang Investment Promotion Bureau, was solemnly held at the Guangrun International Hotel in Fuyang.

　　On April 1–2, 2017, the Fourth National Joint Conference of Chairpersons and Secretaries-General of Fuyang Chambers of Commerce, hosted by the Fuyang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People’s Government and organized by the Fuyang Investment Promotion Bureau, was solemnly held at the Guangrun International Hotel in Fuyang.

　　At 9:00 a.m., dozens of provincial-level Anhui chambers of commerce from across the country—including the Yantai Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Xuchang Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Beihai Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Hangzhou Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Xinjiang Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Shanghai Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Jilin Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Weihai Branch of the Shandong Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Ningxia Anhui Chamber of Commerce, and the Panjin Anhui Chamber of Commerce—along with nearly 20 city‑level chambers such as the Changzhou Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Shenzhen Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Zhuji Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Jinan Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Wenzhou Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Shaanxi Fubo Chamber of Commerce, the Hainan Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Wuhu Fubo Chamber of Commerce, the Hefei Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Ma’anshan Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Henan Anhui Chamber of Commerce’s Fuyang Branch, the Shanghai Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Xuzhou Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Ningbo Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Nanjing Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, and the soon-to-be‑established Dongguan Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, the Tianjin Fubo Chamber of Commerce, and the Hangzhou Fuyang Chamber of Commerce—gathered together. In addition, county‑level chambers such as the Beijing Jieshou Chamber of Commerce, the Shanghai Yingshang Chamber of Commerce, the Shenzhen Linquan Chamber of Commerce, the Hefei Linquan Chamber of Commerce, the Fuyang Funan Chamber of Commerce, and the Fuyang Linquan Chamber of Commerce were also in attendance. Notably, this conference brought together approximately 200 successful individuals from other regions who have established themselves in Fuyang and made significant contributions to the local community, including members of the Fuyang Fujian Chamber of Commerce, the Fuyang Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, and the Fuyang Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce. They then boarded several buses to visit and inspect seven projects in the Southern New District and Yingzhou District, including the Southern New District, the High-Speed Rail West Station, and the Xiangyuan Cultural Tourism City.

　　At 3:00 p.m., all attendees gathered for a group photo at the Fuyang Guangrun International Hotel. Prior to the photo session, Li Ping, Secretary of the Fuyang Municipal Party Committee, held a special meeting with Wu Zhaowei, President of the Yantai Anhui Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Yantai Jinhua Logistics Co., Ltd., along with presidents and secretaries-general representing Fuyang chambers of commerce from across the country. During the meeting, he emphasized three key points: first, he commended the chambers’ roles and contributions; second, he outlined Fuyang’s ongoing transformations and emerging needs; and third, he articulated his hopes and expectations for the continued development of these chambers.

　　During the symposium on how the Fuyang Chambers of Commerce nationwide can support their hometown’s development, the event was chaired by Chen Jun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fuyang Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, while Li Zhiwei, Chairman of the Fuyang Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, delivered the opening address. Wu Zhaowei, President of the Yantai Anhui Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Yantai Jinhua Logistics Co., Ltd., along with representatives from six other chambers, each presented their views and engaged in interactive discussions on practical issues such as future development strategies and positioning in Fuyang, as well as challenges encountered during the process.

Wu Zhaowei, President of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Yantai and Chairman of Yantai Jinhua Logistics Co., Ltd., spoke on behalf of the chamber, offering advice and suggestions for Fuyang’s development.

　　Wu Zhaowei, president of the Yantai Anhui Chamber of Commerce and chairman of Yantai Jinhua Logistics Co., Ltd., is a native of Yingshang County in Fuyang. He delivered a speech at the “Symposium on Supporting Hometown Development” held in Fuyang, focusing on three key areas—diligently fulfilling his duties and responsibilities, and providing high-quality services to promote Fuyang’s development—and outlined his views and recommendations accordingly.

　　He began by highlighting Fuyang’s transportation advantages, its robust entrepreneurship‑support platforms, and the city’s favorable business climate—characterized by a culture that values, welcomes, safeguards, and fosters entrepreneurs—along with its well‑developed infrastructure, distinct comparative strengths, strong policy backing, and substantial financial incentives. Through these factors, he explained how to seize development opportunities and bolster confidence in investing in Fuyang.

　　Secondly, by beginning with the theme “After traveling far and wide, Fuyang remains the most beautiful,” we hope that heads of Fuyang chambers of commerce across the country will strengthen their sense of attachment to their hometown, fully leverage the chambers’ strengths—extensive networks, timely information, and ample funding—and proactively carry out their work to attract more projects to Fuyang that are highly technology‑driven, promising in growth, and capable of generating strong spillover effects. We also encourage everyone to play an active role in fostering connections and offering constructive advice, thereby making further contributions to the development of Fuyang.

　　In closing, President Wu Zhaowei remarked, “Nothing is more beautiful than the waters of one’s hometown, and no one is closer than the people of one’s native land. Our regional accents endure, and our ties to home remain unforgettable.” He encouraged everyone to rediscover, re‑evaluate, and appreciate Fuyang—deepening mutual understanding through interaction, strengthening bonds through connection, and identifying and seizing business opportunities during fact‑finding visits.
